Trick or Treat!

What could be better for a kid than to dress up and have people give you candy for looking cute and knocking on their door??

Ben was Tigger this year and Sam was Eyeore. Grandpa and Grandma Carlson enjoyed walking the neighborhood while the boys experienced the amazing event of people filling their pumpkins for no apparent reason.

That evening, I (Dave) had fun with a play on words during Ben's bed-time routine. I sometimes like to tell stories, and the characters are always the same. "Bean" is a friend of Ben, and they always have lots of fun together. This particular evening, they went "schmick or schmeating", and everyone plopped random foods into their bags. Spaghetti, jello, meatloaf and even some dirt! He got a kick out of the idea and didn't want to stop the story...
